{"id":10082,"date":"2022-03-24T08:41:27","date_gmt":"2022-03-24T07:41:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.danubecommission.org\/dc\/?p=10082"},"modified":"2022-03-24T10:23:56","modified_gmt":"2022-03-24T09:23:56","slug":"press-release-the-13th-extraordinary-session-of-the-danube-commission","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.danubecommission.org\/dc\/en\/2022\/03\/24\/press-release-the-13th-extraordinary-session-of-the-danube-commission\/","title":{"rendered":"Press release: The 13<sup>th<\/sup> extraordinary session of the Danube Commission"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Danube Commission (DC) held its XIII Extraordinary Session on 21<sup>st<\/sup> March 2022 at the Danube Commission premises in Budapest, under the chairmanship of Her Excellency Mrs. Ambassador Liubov Nepop, President of the Danube Commission.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10084 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.danubecommission.org\/dc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IMG_8226.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.danubecommission.org\/dc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IMG_8226.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.danubecommission.org\/dc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IMG_8226-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.danubecommission.org\/dc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IMG_8226-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The session was convened to discuss the mandate of the functionaries of the DC Secretariat, which expires on 30<sup>th<\/sup> June 2022, and, accordingly, the composition of the Secretariat in the mandate of 2022-2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the course of the XIII Extraordinary Session, the Representatives of member states adopted a <em>Decision to extend the mandate of the functionaries of<\/em> <em>the Danube Commission\u2019s Secretariat <\/em>(doc. DK\/TAG XIII Ao.\/3). Under this Decision, the current mandate of the functionaries of the DC Secretariat was extended from 1<sup>st<\/sup> July 2022 to 30<sup>th<\/sup> June 2025.
