Participation of DC Secretariat at the Danube Chambers of Commerce Federation General Assembly

Danube Chambers of Commerce Federation held its Annual General Assembly on September 25, 2025 in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. As keynote speaker at the event, the General Director of the Secretariat of the Danube Commission, Mr. Manfred Seitz presented the activities of the organization aimed at ensuring a good navigation status on the Danube, monitoring the fairway maintenance measures of the member states, and supporting several waterway infrastructure projects.  In the context of the energy transition policies developed at EU level, the Danube Commission has initiated discussions on the modernization of the Danube Fleet, elaborating a Strategy and Roadmap in this regard.
