During a meeting taking place on 26 February 2020 at the headquarters of the Danube Commission

On 21 January 2020, Mr Dejan Trifunovic represented the Secretariat of the Danube Commission (DC) in the 3^rd meeting of the European Commission’s Expert group on technical requirements for inland waterway vessels and a joint meeting with the expert group on the Digital Inland Waterway Area (DINA) in Brussels.

On December 13, 2019 H.E. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary paid a visit to the Danube Commission, upon the invitation of H.E. Dr. Gordan Grlić Radman, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, in his capacity of the President of the Danube Commission.

On 17th December 2019, in Belgrade the Port Government Agency of the Republic of Serbia held its 5th regular annual consultation with the Ports, River Shipping and Ship Agent groups under the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

Following up the 2018 year events on the occasion of 70th anniversary  of the signature of the Convention regarding the regime of navigation on the Danube, the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary and the Danube Commission has issued in a single publication the materials of organized activities listed below:

Representatives of the Secretariat of the Danube Commission met with the high representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade, on 9th December 2019

The representatives of the Danube Commission, the Director-General of the Secretariat, Mr. Manfred Seitz, and Counsellor for development of cargo and passenger transport, ports and logistics service, Mr. Dejan Trifunovic, participated in the 14th meeting of the Rhine-Danube Core Network Corridor Forum
