How to reach the Danube Commission
From downtown Budapest
| M1 metro line from Deák Ferenc tér to Bajza utca (6 stops: Deák Ferenc tér- Bajcsy- Zsilinszky ú t – Opera- Oktogon – Vörösmarty utca – Kodály körönd – Bajza utca). The ride takes around 10 minutes, then walk about 4 minutes (300 m) – see picture below |

By taxi
Taxis in Budapest are marked with the word “Taxi”, often accompanied by a company name/logo. All of oicial taxi vehicles are yellow and have a yellow license plate. All taximeters are equipped with a receipt-printing function, displaying the fares charged and the driver’s identification.

From bus stations
- Népliget
Walk approximately 350 m and take metro line M3 from Népliget to Deák Ferenc tér. Then, and then follow the instructions for how to reach us from downtown.
- Kelenföld vasútállomás (both bus and a train station)
Metro line M4 to Keleti pályaudvar M (Garay utca), change to trolleybus 78 Kossuth Lajos tér to Reformation Park (3 stops), then walk 450 m to the building.
Tram 49 to Deák Ferenc tér and then follow the instructions for how to reach us from downtown.
From railway stations
- Keleti pályaudvar
Take trolleybus 78 Kossuth Lajos tér to Reformation Park (3 stops), then walk 450 m to our building.
- Nyugati pályaudvar
Take tram 4/6 (direction UÚjbuda-központ) to Oktogon, then in Andrássy Street change to bus 105 or metro line M1 (see directions from downtown)
- Déli pályaudvar
Take metro line M2 (direction Örs vezér tere) to Deák Ferenc tér (4 stops) then change to M1 or bus 105 (see the instructions for how to reach us from downtown)
