Danube Commission publishes the Register of Damage in the Lower Danube Region caused by Russian Military Actions
In December 2025, at its 104th Session, the Danube Commission strongly condemned the military actions of the Russian Federation violating the Belgrade Convention, and decided to collect data on the military actions of the Russian Federation that systematically impede free and safe navigation in the Lower Danube region in a “Register of Damage caused by Russian Military Actions in the Lower Danube Region”.
The Danube Commission is publishing the Register of Damage on its official website, and invites the affected Danube countries to provide the Secretariat with verified information on any damage caused by military attacks by the RF impeding free and safe navigation in the lower Danube region.
