Highlights from the DC’s Autumn WG JUR-FIN Meeting

The Danube Commission’s Working Group on Legal and Financial Matters (WG JUR-FIN), chaired by Mr Peter Kováč (Slovakia), convened in a hybrid format, with delegations from all ten Danube riparian countries participating.
Discussions covered the impact of Russian military attacks on navigation in the Lower Danube, the DC Secretariat’s internal reforms, preparations for the 2027 mandate change, the draft Work Plan and Budget for 2027, and cooperation through EU-funded projects and international partnerships.
