Danube Commission’s working group for legal and financial meeting, 20-22 October 2020
During its 20-22 October 2020 meeting, the Danube Commission’s working group for legal and financial matters managed to partially clear the backlog of issues for consideration that had accumulated as a consequence of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Dealing mainly with organizational matters, delegations prepared, among others, the 2021 working plan and finalized the first reading of the 2021 draft budget submitted by the Secretary. The Secretariat was tasked to review the draft documents based on comments made by delegations and submit the final drafts for approval to the 94th ordinary session of the Commission, due to take place on 11 December 2020.
